eRAMP - Loans will not import into Transfer or Rights
Problem: When loans are imported into Transfer of Rights some loans or all loans do not import.
Cause: eRAMP has an audit feature that will only allow loans that have been registered through eRAMP to be imported for transfer of rights. This feature may be turned off or on depending on user requirements.
The reason for this feature is to make sure loans have been registered before allowing a transfer of rights. If a loan that is not registered is submitted to MERS for transfer the transfer will be rejected. With eRAMP’s registration audit feature turned on a transfer of rights will not be allowed until the loan has been registered through eRAMP.
Resolution: When you are first starting to use eRAMP you may have loans to transfer that were not registered through eRAMP or if you are using eRAMP only for transfer of rights you can set eRAMP to allow transfers without previously registering the loan through eRAMP.
To turn off the registration requirement click Settings>Client and uncheck the box at the top right of the screen with Transfer of Rights Import only Registered Loans. It is recommend that this feature be turned on after all loans are being registered through eRAMP and as long as eRAMP is being used for both registration and transfer of rights.
