Importing Duplicate MIN Numbers
In some cases users would like to create an import file from their LOS system based on loans that may or may not have been imported into eRAMP. Most of the time this is to pickup loans that may have been missed as part of a previous export.
There is no problem going back 5 days, weeks or months. 102 Registration will not allow a duplicate MIN to be imported. If you do a look back and import loan files into 102 Registration only new MINs will be imported. Duplicate MINs will be blocked whether the loan was submitted to MERS or not. After the import process eRAMP will display a report to let you know how many new MINs were imported, how many duplicates were found and the number of MINs that were imported with missing data and the fields that are missing the data.
As for Transfer of rights; as long as the loan has not been sent to MERS for transfer eRAMP will import duplicate MIN numbers. The new import data will override the previous data imported. Once the loan has been submitted for transfer eRAMP will block duplicate MINs from being imported.
