Template Field Positions Will Not Save

Problem: When changing template file field positions the changes will not save and the previous field positions come back into the template file.
Cause: There is a file compatibility issue caused by Windows with a file in your eRAMP folder. The file that causes the problem is hidden behind the "Compatibility view".
Solution: Here's the steps to correct the problem in Windows 7;
  1. Open Windows Explorer and go to your eRAMP folder. If you have the standard installation the eRAMP folder should be on your c: drive in the Program Files (x86) folder
  2. Go to your eRAMP folder and click the "Compatibility Files" Menu option located on the top menu bar
  3. After clicking "Compatibility files" look for a file named ERAMPTRN.FIL
  4. Delete this file. Deleting this file may delete your transfer of rights field positions listed on your Transfer of Rights Template screen in eRAMP
  5. Close Windows Explorer and open eRAMP
  6. Go to your Settings>Transfer of Rights Template screen and select this menu option. If all field positions are blank re-enter your field positions. If the field positions are filled in make changes if any and click the "Apply" button. Your file should save without an error. The key is finding the ERAMPTRN.FIL file in your eRAMP folder even if it is a hidden file. Delete this file and re-enter your Transfer of Rights Template field positions.
